Easter in Michigan

Theo's first Easter egg hunt.  Thanks to Grandma
He didn't know what what to do at first, but as soon as he
found the treats inside, he caught on quite quickly.
Making Easter basket prints in the snow.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

Theo reads music

Theo loves the piano and his Grandpa.

Spring/Winter Break

Kzoo Museum

The little girl driving the bus saw Theo and decided he needed a ride on the bus.  She picked him up, put him on the bus, and got into the driver's seat.  It was pretty funny to watch.  I think the girl at the back is the bus driver's sister.  She wanted to be a part of the Doot blog.
We spent a few days with GG and family. It was lots of fun. Thanks GG!

Theo watching Grandpa and dad shovel.  Jared is Tim's third leg.

But the snow didn't keep us from going out.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.  We had a great time in Kzoo.

Mom's Visit

We had a lot of fun this past weekend with Mom in DC! On Saturday all the things we did, NONE of us had done before! (Except go to Five Guys). We went to Great Falls State Park and saw a good view of the falls, went on a walk, and had a picnic lunch.
Then we went to the Air and Space Museum at Dulles Airport. It is a huge hangar with lots of planes in it. It was really cool.
We ended the day with some Five Guys and Thomas Sweets ice cream in Georgetown.
Thanks for coming mom, we had a lot of fun!!

Here are a couple views of the falls

This is the Enola Gay, the plane that dropped the Atomic bomb

The Air France is the Concorde. They stopped service in 2003

Pepsi plane

Stealth jet - this one was really cool. It was huge!

We went up to the observation tower. This was the view of the planes flying into Dulles.

Skiing with the Millers

Last weekend we had the great pleasure of spending some time with the Miller family up at the Alta ski resort in Utah.  Aunt Donna and Uncle Drew were visiting for the week and we went up to visit them and I was able to go skiing with the expert, aka Drew.  As you can see, we started on the easy slopes, but by the end we were going down the slopes on some great powder.  Uncle Drew got some of my falls on video, stay tuned for those.  While we were skiing the girls went to the ski lodge to watch people coming down the slopes and drink hot chocolate.  We ended the day with a hearty game of peanut.  Now the Millers might give Dave and Sarah some competition on the East coast.
