Our little pianist.

He actually does go along with the beat and he
will dance once in a while.  Enjoy.

Baby Birds and Prague

These pictures have nothing to do with each is in the backyard, and one from Prague. Cathy found the birds in a pine tree in the back. A few days ago there were eggs, and now there are babies. If you look closely, you can see three beaks. They are pretty cute.

This is a shot of Prague Castle from the Charles Bridge at sunset the end of April. The clouds were pretty cool looking. It had been a rainy day and cleared up in the evening.

Hopkins Visit

Clair and Julia came to visit this past week. We had a lot of fun with them. We were able to do some stuff we had never done before! The first night they were here, we went to the famed "Wegman's" grocery store for dinner. They have quite the variety there - Dave got the Asian buffet, I got the fresh fruit buffet, Julia got the crab cakes, and Clair got the Salmon. You can also get subs, pizza, soup, bread, etc. It was a pretty cool store.
On Saturday, we drove south to Charlottesville. We went to downtown Charlottesville for lunch, we saw UVA campus, and we went and toured Jefferson's home - Monticello. It was a really pretty drive down there and Monticello was really nice.

House on the Rocks

We took a little trip with some of Jared's friends
to the house on the rock, a tourist attraction
about 45 minutes from our home.
The infinity room.
The infinity room again.  Theo was
a great little tourist.
The infinity room from an outside perspective.

One of the worlds largest carousels.  It was for entertainment
for those who came to visit the man who lived in the house on
the rock.  I asked the a worker if we could ride it and he said
that it was too expensive of a toy to ride....bummer.  If you
look close enough you can see flying mannequins on the ceiling
near the carousel.  The mannequins and creatures on the carousel
are on my top ten list of some of the most weird things I have
seen in my life.

Anna Visits the Folks

Anna came home last weekend, and we had a wonderful time. She was so excited to see the old red van that she jumped for joy!
And we were so happy to see her we sat down with her...Anyway, we had a wonderful weekend.
We went to South Haven on Saturday. The beach was deserted - but with winds around 40 MPH and the wind chill at 30 or so, only the hearty souls were out. We all got a lot of sand in our hair and teeth, but it was great.
