These pictures have nothing to do with each other...one is in the backyard, and one from Prague. Cathy found the birds in a pine tree in the back. A few days ago there were eggs, and now there are babies. If you look closely, you can see three beaks. They are pretty cute.
This is a shot of Prague Castle from the Charles Bridge at sunset the end of April. The clouds were pretty cool looking. It had been a rainy day and cleared up in the evening.
Clair and Julia came to visit this past week. We had a lot of fun with them. We were able to do some stuff we had never done before! The first night they were here, we went to the famed "Wegman's" grocery store for dinner. They have quite the variety there - Dave got the Asian buffet, I got the fresh fruit buffet, Julia got the crab cakes, and Clair got the Salmon. You can also get subs, pizza, soup, bread, etc. It was a pretty cool store. On Saturday, we drove south to Charlottesville. We went to downtown Charlottesville for lunch, we saw UVA campus, and we went and toured Jefferson's home - Monticello. It was a really pretty drive down there and Monticello was really nice.

Anna came home last weekend, and we had a wonderful time. She was so excited to see the old red van that she jumped for joy! And we were so happy to see her we sat down with her...Anyway, we had a wonderful weekend. We went to South Haven on Saturday. The beach was deserted - but with winds around 40 MPH and the wind chill at 30 or so, only the hearty souls were out. We all got a lot of sand in our hair and teeth, but it was great.
