Mya's daily exercise

A couple of days ago we were sitting in bed with Mya, who was leaning on a pillow, and she just kinda sat up. Last night I was about to put her to bed and I had her on the couch and she started sitting up. The first couple of times it kinda looks like I give her some momentum, but on the last ones you can tell that she can actually do it. We thought this was pretty fun.

A Las Vegas Wedding

We were down in Vegas this last weekend for a wedding. One of Janine's old roommates got married on Saturday. We had a lot of fun and stayed with some friends down there. It was a great change from our everyday lives in Provo. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure

Here we are with Steph and Parker, the bride and groom

Mya loved the bride's flowers

Janine, looking beautiful in her little black dress

The bridesmaid's had a photo shoot on Friday at this really cool hotel. Here I am with Mya... kinda looks like we are on vacation in some exotic location

Spring Break in Chicago

We went to Chicago and stayed with some friends for Spring Break.  It was a much needed break for the whole family.  Thank you Danica, Kevin, and Claire for letting us stay with you.  Theo loved the Ferris Wheel.
And Theo loved the train ride.  The guy operating it was great!  He blew bubbles, blew the train whistle, and displayed different toys as the children passed him.  Theo is sitting next to Claire, who was born on the exact same day and year as Theo.

Family pic.  Norah is now 1 month old.
Danica was so great with the kids.  Theo loved the extra attention.  I was also surprised how well Theo and Claire played together, especially for being two year olds.

Lake Michigan at South Haven in March

We had a beautiful Saturday this past weekend, and wanted to see what the lake was like. We had a wonderful walk on the beach at South Haven, and enjoyed the sun, the sand, and the ice! It was beautiful, a bit cool, and very clear.

The ice spread out at least 1/2 mile from the shore.

This is us...
The lighthouse looked pretty frozen.

A desolate stretch of shoreline.

Sweet Potatoes

Mya tried sweet potatoes tonight. Here are a few shots of her during and after the experience. She loves eating like mommy and daddy but doesn't know how to swallow quite yet and so the food got all over the place. We are so impressed with Christopher and how big he is getting. Mya wants to be big too. We will see what she weighs next month. Currently I think she weighs around 14 1/2 pounds. She is still pretty short, but I like that she is petite. Enjoy the pictures.

Hello sad face.

Do I have something on my face?

What is this stuff?

This is so much fun!

She had food stuck in her neck rolls. She was bathed immediately after this feeding. We will have to work on this.

6 Months Old Already?!?!?!

Well, our little baby is already six months old! His mom and dad can hardly believe it!! At his doctors appointment last week, he weighed 16 lbs 13 oz (50%) and measured 26 3/4 in (75%).
As you can tell from these pictures, this kid is going to be a heartbreaker -

We love having family come to visit!

It was so sad to see my parents go.  I am glad that they got to see where we live and I really appreciated all their help while they were here.  I love you both so much!
GG and Aunt Laurie came to visit and brought us lots of yummy food.  It was so fun to see them.  Thank you!!
I love dressing up my little girl!
Norah lovin' her daddy.

SNOW!!

This is what we woke up to this morning. See the snow piled up in the doorway?? Apparently this is the biggest snow storm we've had in three years.

Christopher says, btw - look what I can do!
