Almost spring

It is almost spring here. Hopefully full blown spring will come soon.

It has been SO HOT here the last few days - in the 90's. We're hoping spring will come back. Christopher doesn't quite know what to think about the heat but he still had fun at the park:
Christopher is learning to stand up pretty well while holding on to things. He doesn't quite have the balance thing down yet though.

Brainwashing starts young

Just had to write this. Theo and I were going over the alphabet. He is pretty good at recognizing the letters in any order. So we came to "M", he said "M" and then followed that with "Go Blue". Yes!

Sisters for sure

I just thought this was funny. As many of you may know, I do not wait until my birthday to open cards, packages etc. (Thanks for the socks Mom.) I got a card from Anna and a card from Sarah. They differed in the color that they chose, but the lettering is nearly identical. Did you guys plan this out ahead of time? Anyway, thanks.

A few recent pics of Mya. She is getting restless indoors. Too bad it snowed last night and we are stuck here.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Last night we went to the Nats home opener. We had a lot of fun. Christopher was great! The cheering scared him a little bit at first, but he got used to it pretty quick. We were even able to stay in our seats the WHOLE game! What a great baby!
Dave was very excited to take his son to his first baseball game.

We tuckered him right out.

Isn't he the cutest little guy ever?

Happy Easter!

This is right after Theo got up. He got up this morning and the first things that he said were: Eggs? Candy? He would not eat breakfast. Maybe next year we will do it a little differently.

Here is Norah and I before church.

Here is the Easter egg hunt with some other 2 year old boys. It was fun. We put goldfish and marshmallows inside the eggs rather than candy. Theo was disappointed.

Pictures and a Movie

April 9th: Mya's Half Birthday

Mya celebrated her half birthday on April 9th. She is getting so big. She has been sitting up for the last two weeks. We love that she sits up because it allows us to leave her alone for awhile as she plays by herself. She weighed in at 14 lbs. 14 oz. and is 26 1/2 inches long. We can't believe how fast the last few months have blown by. She is getting two teeth and lets us know it. Poor girl.

As for me and Tim, we are excited that our lives will be going back to normal. I finished student teaching yesterday. It is a nice feeling to be done. Nothing left except graduation. My parents are going to come in town for graduation so I am excited. Tim has finals in a week. He is getting prepared and I bet he will do great. I married such a smart guy.

Below are some pictures taken of Mya on her sixth month b-day. She looks so cute.

Mom's Visit

Thanks for posting, mom. I thought I'd put up a few more pics -

Christopher and Grandma

We had a lot of fun with the Millers and Aunt Peggy. Here is Christopher with his second cousin, Abbie (is that right Jared, second cousin?)

I think this is a really funny picture of Chrisotpher - he loved meeting Moose! And Moose loved meeting him and gave him lots of kisses

Thanks for coming Grandma! We had so much fun!

We had a great visit at the Millers...lunch was great - thanks!

Christopher David is so big...I wanted to share some pictures! Christopher loves to sit on laps...

And he looks just like his dad...and loves to wear red

And he and his mom are both so photogenic! Thanks for the visit!
